Dilara Afroz Khan is a highly accomplished academic, entrepreneur, and community leader with extensive experience in finance, education, and business. She holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from the State University of New York (SUNY). Her education was financed by an IBM Corporation scholarship. Prior to transferring to SUNY, Dilara pursued Civil Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Currently, she is a graduate student in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University.

In her academic career, Dilara has held faculty positions at prestigious institutions, including North South University, BRAC University, and the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). She has served in leadership roles such as Director of the Student Affairs Office, the Career Services Office, and the Office of Co-curricular Activities, where she led efforts to mentor students, organize career fairs, and develop extracurricular programs. At North South University, she was also the Director of the Confucius Institute, where she played a key role in enhancing cultural exchange programs, earning global recognition for the institute as the BEST Confucius Institute in 2016.

As an entrepreneur, Dilara is the director of several successful companies, including NRB Jobs Ltd., Mars Solutions Ltd.. Her corporate career includes significant roles such as Vice President of IBM Credit Union, where she gained invaluable expertise in finance, management, and strategic leadership. She also worked with IBM Corporation, where her contributions spanned across finance and engineering, setting the foundation for her entrepreneurial and leadership success.

Dilara has made significant contributions to community and social development. She founded the Ethics Club Bangladesh to promote ethical practices among students and professionals and has organized numerous national and international conferences, including the First Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB/PBO) Conference. She is also the Principal and Co-Founder of the Udichi School of Performing Arts in New York, which preserves cultural heritage and fosters the arts within immigrant communities.

Her leadership and dedication have earned her multiple accolades, including Proclamations from the New York City Council for her outstanding service to the Bangladeshi community. Dilara's commitment to education, ethics, and community service continues to inspire future leaders and foster positive change in society.
