My parents were married in Kilburn some forty years ago, I went to school here, and I have spent my weekends campaigning here since I was 16. I now live in a flat in West Hampstead, with my husband Chris and daughter Azalea.
My politics are based on my experience of life in our area. I was previously a local councillor and Cabinet Member on Camden Council, with responsibility for our much loved community centres. Before this, I worked at Amnesty International and Save the Children on issues related to human trafficking and modern-day slavery.
Since my first election in 2015, I have run campaigns that prioritise the interests of local people. From my stance against Brexit and HS2, to demanding better funding for local schools and health services – I am proud to have been a truly local representative.
This background lies at the heart of my determination to defend our local interests in Parliament.
Thank you for visiting my website. On these pages you will find details of my previous work in the House of Commons and in Hampstead and Kilburn. |
